Fiber Optic Splice Closure FOSC-8 (12)
Fiber optical splice closure FOSC-8 (12), other called HTSC-F01 is horizontal type closure, designed to splice and branch fiber optical cables on underground, aerial, wall-mounting and duct-mounting routes.
FOSC has 4 round inputs, maximum capacity is 12 fibers. Usually installed in last mile connection routes, in FTTH.
Fiber optic closure has no additional splice tray, fibers can be stored inside in 2 layers.
The sealing is realized with using of wound sealing tape of the input hole, to increase fiber optical cable diameter to the size of the hole.
This fiber optic splice closure is equipped by 1 hex key, cable number stickers (1-12), 12 heat shrinkable tubes, 4 ribbon plugs, 12 nylon cable ties.
Outdoor installation is done by 2 stainless steel hooks R10 mm.
Fiber optical splice closure FOSC-8 can not be equipped by air valve and ground device.
Inputs and cable diameters
4 × Ø4-12 mm
Last mile connections
Unscrew 7 bolts and open the closure. The optical fiber cable or patch cords can be inputted in FOSC from four holes. Determine the length of fiber cable, to be stripped and fixed inside the FOSC. After stripping and fusion, seal the cable inputs with sealing tape. Put the ribbon plug if you have fused less than 4 cable inputs. Screw 7 bolts.
