Mechanical Cable Lug for Medium Voltage (MV) is that the Mechanical cable lug used to securely terminate and connect medium-voltage power cables to electrical equipment, such as distribution boards, switchgear, transformers, and control panels. These lugs are specifically designed to simplify the installation process while ensuring reliable electrical connections in various Low voltage(typically up to 36KV) power distribution systems.

When install the mechanical cable lug, only needs to screw to fasten the cable conductor and shear-head bolts off, the bolts will break off at a preset torque to ensure a consistent, reliable connection. This easy and fast installation also reduce the human maintenance cost. Jere Line’s shear head bolts mechanical cable lug is made by tin covered aluminum material, it can be used for connecting both aluminum and copper conductors. Meanwhile the sizes are from 16-1000mm2, wide range of cable application sizes, covered typical conductor cross-sections.
