The researchers from National Laboratory of Oak Ridge y produced a system for storage of energy reduces the request of peak electricity below 37% in households and it will do some helps with electricity distribution operations.
The system was located underground and the structure excess electricity from renewable resources. Such as thermal energy and solar heat. The underground tanks filled by water has materials that absorb energy and release energy during transitioning between liquid and solid states.
Researchers said :”This system can help utilities better to manager their loads. It’s can reduce our expenses and encouraging more people greater use of renewable energy”.
