Infineon (Formerly Eupec) IGBTs presented by Katie Nyberg for Galco TV. Buy the items featured in this video at 800-337-1720 or visit: http://www.galco.com/shop/Infineon-Formerly-Eupec-IGBTs-Transistors?source=YouTubeText
The Infineon IGBTs are available in low, medium or high power. The low power modules are rated for up to 200 amps with voltages as high as 1700 volts. The all white modules I have here are the econo housing made with a copper base plate that is optimized for heat spread and includes an NTC thermistor.
The econo line also extends into the medium power range of IGBTs for ratings up to 600 amps with voltages up to 1700 volts. They are also available with a solderless pressFIT connection and offer low resistance. The medium power range also includes the 34 and 62 millimeter modules with the standard block frame. These models are available in configurations such as single switch, half bridge, chopper, saturation voltage, and high switching frequency*. This line covers ratings from 50 to 900 amps with a voltage up to 1700 volts.
The high power modules are in an all black block design with a range from .5 megawatts which is 450 amps at 1200 volts to 6 megawatts, which is 3600 amps at 1700 volts. They are available in different configurations such as chopper, diode, dual, half-bridge, and single switch. Their robust design works well within a large temperature range from negative 40 to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. They have low stray inductance and leaking current and work well even under harsh and rough conditions.
