ADSS cable guy grips
ADSS dead-end grip used on poles or metal towers in construction of distribution network in telecommunication with fiber optic ADSS cables.
ADSS cable deadend grips are made of galvanized steel, covered by special sand layer and glue.
Usually installed on plastic jacket overhead ADSS fiber optic cables, do not require any tools. Bare, flat, figure 8 cables are forbidden to be used with this type of preformed helical fitting.
Jera preformed production line is capable to adjust wire formed dead ends in accordance to data sheet clients’ cable. When the tension strength is high, it should be applied helical ADSS grip with splice protector in order to protect fiber core from damaging during tensioning. Opposite to it, it can be applied ADSS preformed wire grip without protector, when the tension is under 9 KN, with thimble or without it.
All of our ADSS dead end grips and formed wire accessories have been tested with the collaboration of electricity and telecommunication utilities in order to satisfy the requirements of our customers.
