ASTM A475-03: Zinc-Coated Steel Wire Strand testing is used by Jera Line to test the helical wire grips’s materials, and different steel parts such as anchor clamps.
ASTM A475-03 covers five grades of zinc-coated steel wire strand, composed of multiple round steel wires. These strands have four weights of zinc coatings and are suitable for various applications, including use as guys, messengers, and span wires.

The four weights of zinc coatings are: Class 1, and Classes A, B, and C.
Minimum weights of zinc coatings are specified.
The base metal (steel) must meet quality and purity requirements.
Finished strands and individual wires must meet prescribed properties.
Joints in the wires are either brazed-lap or electric-butt-welded and coated with zinc for corrosion protection.
JERA LINE’s Commitment: JERA LINE, a leading manufacturer in China, ensures that their zinc-coated steel wire strands comply with ASTM A475-03 standards. These strands exhibit uniform quality, strength, and corrosion resistance, making them ideal for low and medium voltage cable applications.
